FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT, EDUCATION AND HUMANITIES

Introduction

The first management related course offered was a Diploma in Hotel Management programme on 25th April 2015. This is one of the efforts to widen the scope from the allied science programmes in PICOMS. Two more new programmes recognized as equivalent to Diploma – the Diploma in Logistics Mangement and the Diploma in Human Resources Management. On 1st October 2019 marked the establishment of Faculty of Management, Education and Humanities (FOM) paralleled with PICOMS Vice Chancellor’s transformation plan, merging of all management related progammes under Faculty of Management, Education and Humanities. Furthermore, The Faculty of Management launched newer programmes namely the Diploma in Early Childhood Education, and the Diploma in Business Management.

 

In 2019, The Faculty of Management set another milestone to introduce new Bachelor Degree programmes – the Bachelor of Business Administration (Human Resource) (Honours) and the Bachelor of International Supply Chain Management (Honours). The Faculty now has about 25 full-time faculty members with a student population over 650. Riding on its unique and prestigious to so many bright and talented students, PICOMS Faculty of Management, Education and Humanities is poised for a new take off.
