Background of Program  :

The program aims to provide students with broad-based knowledge, technical, operational and entrepreneurial skills to perform effectively and ethically in the area of Psychology, hence inculcating the desire for lifelong learning and career development.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO)

 

PEO1

To produce graduates who are competent, have self-motivation and are able to communicate effectively in the field of psychology

To equip graduates with skills and knowledge to lead as psychologist which is capable to make judgments and solve problems through the concepts in the field of psychology

To equip graduates with skills in technology and knowledge-based manpower to ensure innovation growth of the industry and maintain it sustainability

To prepare graduates who are able to demonstrate professionalism and recognize the need and innovation for successful career advancement in the field of psychology

 

Program Learning Objective (PLO)

PLO1

Demonstrate systematic comprehension of a broad range of complex theoretical knowledge and skills to enable varied routine and non-routine tasks in the field of psychology.

Identify, interpret, apply and evaluate general concepts, theory and operational definitions in the field of psychology

Apply a limited range of practical skills, essential tools, methods and procedures to perform required tasks.

Interact effectively individually or in a team with supervisors, peers and subordinates.

Communicate effectively both in written and spoken form with peers, other professionals and community

Admission Requirements          :

A pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent with at least THREE (3) credits in any subject and a pass in Mathematics and Science;

OR

A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent with at least 1 full pass with GP 2.00 and a pass in, Mathematics and Science at SPM level;

OR

Other relevant or equivalent qualification, experience and requirement accepted by the HEP Senate/competent authority in Malaysia.
