Background of Program :
In today’s world, it is becoming more and more complex to get a product into a buyer’s hands with manufacturing, assembly, storage, and delivery happening in different locations all over the world. Additionally, with the boom of e-commerce around the globe, logistics and supply chain talents are most demanded. To address those complex needs, supply chain management professionals are trained to innovate solutions and understand intricate supply chains to navigate an intricate network of warehouse and transport services across a broad variety of industries and products. The goal of supply chain management is to get a product to its end destination as cost-effectively and quickly as possible.
Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
To produce academically qualified and competent individuals with updated knowledge in the field of logistic and supply management.
To produce qualified individuals who can design, plan, execute, control and monitor supply chain operations with the objective of creating net value, building a competitive infrastructure, leveraging worldwide supply chain, synchronising supply with demand and measuring performance globally.
To inculcate students with the critical analysis and communication skills that enable students to effectively presents views either in writing or through oral presentations, and to analyze and critiques the views of others for purposes of decision making.
To encourage students to prepare for life-long learning, life-long professionals and career development and life-long personal development.
Program Learning Objective (PLO)
Demonstrate relevant knowledge & critically appraise supply chain problems and responding to change and the consideration of the future of supply chain development and the external environment in which they operate;
Analyse, interpret and extrapolate different types of information in supply chain systems as well as capable of using business models of supply chain, and associated numeracy skills;
Apply evidence-based scientific principles in discussing ideas of improvement in supply chain management; Demonstrate sensitivities and responsibilities towards the community, culture, religion and environment;
Adhere to the legal, ethical principles and the professional code of conduct in supply chain management; Communicate in verbal and written forms with workers, other supply chain professionals, stakeholders and the community at large;
Demonstrate leadership, interpersonal and social skills; Collaborate with other skills professionals;
Identify and analyse critically supply chain management problems to provide solutions based on evidence; Conduct research related to supply chain management under supervision;
Utilize ICT and information management system to enhance their supply chain management practices; Apply skills and principles of lifelong learning in career development; and
Apply broad business and real-world perspectives in workplace and demonstrate entrepreneurial skills.

Admission Requirements :
English language competency requirements for international students: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 550 or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 5.5 or equivalent.
Note: The requirement to pass Mathematics and English at SPM level for candidates (i) and (ii) can be waived if the qualification contains Mathematics and English subjects and the achievement is equivalent / more than the requirement to pass the subject at SPM level.

Graduates are able to pursue further studies in Master of Business Administration Program at PICOMS International University College and Master by coursework or research in logistics and supply chain management fields in any public or private higher education institutions
